Coast to Coast Walk raises £1500 for The Bridge

Brothers take on Coast to Coast walk to raise money for The Bridge Homelessness to Hope in Leicester.

Steve Brown and his brother Mike took on the Wainwright's Coast to Coast walk on 4th May, raising £1536 for The Bridge Homelessness to Hope, in aid of people who are experiencing homelessness in Leicester.

Starting at St Bees in Cumbria, Steve and Mike tackled the difficult 190 mile walk to North Yorkshire, finishing in Robin Hood's Bay 15 days later, where they celebrated with family and friends.

"After 15 days of walking we have covered the 192 miles (that worked out at 440,000 steps ) from St Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire. It has been an amazing experience, we have seen some breathtaking scenery, met some interesting people and had a really good time. Although my feet might not agree! I would like to say a big heart felt thank you to everyone that has supported us with words of encouragement and donations to our charities"

Thank you to Steve and Mike for your incredible efforts with your fundraiser!
