The Bridge Homelessness to Hope has appointed Anna Iliffe as its new Operations Manager. Anna starts the position after working at the charity in both volunteer and staff roles over the last two years. She will be responsible for line managing the 13 staff, managing the hub and food service at Melton Street in the city, and the charity’s four houses for accommodating guests. The Oliver Liddar Foundation recently awarded a £12,000 donation to The Bridge Homelessness to Hope, via the William Brake Foundation. The money will support the employment of a new, part-time case worker at this Leicester-based homeless charity.

Some of Leicester’s homeless community will be treated to a specially cooked festive dinner on Christmas Day at The Bridge Leicester.

The Bridge have been awarded the nationally recognised 'Investing in Volunteers' quality standard for good practice in volunteer management.
