Arts & Crafts

The Arts & Crafts Sessions are one of the many ways in which we have supported our guests with their mental health and wellbeing.

This recreational activity provided a space for our guests to:

Craft Supplies

Film Club

Our Film Club was an opportunity for our guests to stay somewhere safe and warm a little longer, which is particularly important as the winter nights get colder and longer.

For a couple of hours, our guests relaxed whilst watching a film, and enjoying hot drinks and snacks.

Each session lasted approximately two and half hours (depending on the length of the film).

Popcorn
Soccer Cleats

Football

Our Football sessions provided an opportunity for guests to improve their physical and mental health, social relationships and overall quality of life through sport.

In making activities accessible to our guests, we hope to debunk the myth that people experiencing homelessness aren’t interested in or can’t do sporting activities, or that people don’t care about the state of their own health.

If you are interested in hosting a Sport or Health activity at The Bridge, please get in touch with us via 01162221161 or email hello@bridgeleicester.org
