Sri Sathya Sai Trust donate brand new cooker to The Bridge Homelessness to Hope's Community Cafe.

Thanks to the generous support of the Sri Sathya Sai Trust, the community café at The Bridge has received a brand new cooker that will play a vital role in helping to continue their work with people experiencing homelessness in Leicester.
Each year, The Bridge's community cafe provides hundreds of freshly prepared meals to individuals who are facing homelessness. For many of the guests, these meals are more than just food – they are a warm welcome, a safe space, and a reminder that they are not alone.
The new cooker will significantly enhance the charity's ability to prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals efficiently and safely. It replaces ageing equipment and ensures that we can continue serving the community without interruption.
"We are incredibly grateful to the Sri Sathya Sai Trust for recognising the importance of our community café and for investing in practical support that has an immediate and lasting impact. Their generosity will directly benefit some of the most vulnerable members of our Leicester community.
Partnerships like this make our work possible. Every meal served represents compassion in action — and this donation is a powerful example of how collaboration can strengthen our mission of moving people from homelessness to hope."
Gemma Orton, Hub Coordinator at The Bridge Homelessness to Hope.
