The Bridge Homelessness to Hope is a charity in Leicester that provides support and advocacy to anyone over the age of 18 who is experiencing homelessness.

 

This includes those who are rough sleeping, sofa surfing, and people who are in temporary or unsuitable accommodation.

Impact Report 2023

Our Impact Report showcases some of the amazing work done by those who have worked and volunteered for The Bridge, as well as those who have supported us over the past year. 

 

It also highlights some of the struggles we are facing as a charity and what our hopes are as we move forward into the new year.

 

Most importantly, however, it gives us the opportunity to say a massive thank you for all your support in 2023!

Through our support services, our guests have had an improvement in their income 287 times.

Our Hub services were accessed 12,558 times in 2023. 2148 times more than the previous year.

The Hub

The Hub is the central point of activity at The Bridge Homelessness to Hope and is where we offer a wide range of recreational activities to our guests, including Art & Crafts and Music.

 

All of which have been designed to empower and enable people by building their confidence and skillset in a safe environment.

Lighthouse Project.

Mentoring

The Lighthouse Project supports homeless and vulnerably housed adults in Leicester who have multiple and complex needs.

The project aims to increase the mentees’ confidence, reduce social isolation, improve mental and physical health, and access practical help.

Everybody that visits The Bridge Homelessness to Hope has a different experience, but there is one common theme which runs through every story: they feel valued, cared for and loved. The Bridge is not just another drop-in centre, but is often the centre of people’s lives.
