The Bridge Homelessness to Hope have been awarded the nationally recognised 'Investing in Volunteers' quality standard for good practice in volunteer management.

 

Investing in Volunteers is the UK quality standard for all organisations that involve volunteers. It aims to improve the quality of the volunteering experience for all volunteers and highlights the contributions they make to charities throughout the country.

the hub

The Hub is the central point of activity at The Bridge Homelessness to Hope and is where we offer a wide range of recreational activities to our guests, including Art & Crafts, Creative Writing, Music and Football.

 

All of which have been designed to empower and enable people by building their confidence and skillset in a safe environment.

the LIGHTHOUSE project

The Lighthouse Project supports homeless and vulnerably housed adults in Leicester who have multiple and complex needs.

The project aims to increase the mentees’ confidence, reduce social isolation, improve mental and physical health and access practical help.

We simply cannot do what we do without the ongoing support of our incredible volunteers. 

From being one of our collectors to supporting our weekly Creative Sessions, or working on a one-to-one basis with our mentees, check out the many opportunities to support the work we do and the people we help.

Everybody that visits The Bridge Homelessness to Hope has a different experience, but there is one common theme which runs through every story: they feel valued, cared for and loved. The Bridge is not just another drop-in centre, but is often the centre of people’s lives.
