How to Become a Volunteer

If you would like to become a Bridge volunteer, just fill in the form on the right,  we would love to hear from you!

Anyone over the age of 18 can be a volunteer. We have volunteers of all ages, from all backgrounds, races and religions. We do not discriminate when it comes to our guests, and likewise we would love to hear from you if you want to help – whoever you are!

Just fill in the form – We will get back to you to arrange a couple of dates when you can join us on our ‘taster session’. Having established which dates you can do, we’ll let the session leader, Patrick, know when you are coming along.

When you arrive for your first session, please make yourself known to Patrick. He will be wearing a red T shirt – the rest of us wear blue T shirts.

After you’ve attended a couple of sessions, if you feel that you would like to volunteer on a more permanent basis, please inform Patrick that you’d like to do so. Huw Francis, our volunteer Co-ordinator, will then email you a volunteer application form.

Once we have received your formal application we will then contact your referees. Upon their replies the Management Board will consider your application and decide whether or not we are able to accept you as a permanent volunteer. Getting references can take time but we’ll do our best to process the paperwork as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask! You can also contact Huw and the team by using the contact form to the right of this page.
